Blegny 2025: A Day of Twos in Every Way

English

The breed specialty of the Royal Belgian Schnauzer and Pinscher Club in Blegny-Mine turned out to be a true day of twos for us — two young hopes, two second places, and their proud mother following suit.

Yarilo of Randi’s Ushabti was awarded 2nd Very Promising in the baby class.
Breed specialist and judge Stefan Wächter from Germany commented: 4 months old, development in line with age, typical head, dark eyes, excellent pigment. Ears carried high, well-built with correct angulation, medium-length coat of very good colour. Moves lively with a stretched tail.

Yuki Onna of Randi’s Ushabti, at only her second show ever, matched her brother’s result with another 2nd Very Promising.
The judge described her as a 4-month-old female of typical head and expression, teeth in change, dark eyes and correct drop ears. Square body, correct angulation, coat of proper colour and texture for age. Moves willingly and friendly.

And mother Valencia of Randi’s Ushabti also shone in the ring — She earned 2nd Excellent with RCAC in the champion class.
Her critique read: 3 years old, correct size, feminine head with scissor bite, dark eyes, drop ears not fully closed. Compact body, strong back and chest, correct angulation. Harsh coat, cream over the back, otherwise pure white. Friendly temperament and free movement.

Later in the day, we also took part in the Best Breeder’s Group competition.
We were not placed for the podium this time, but it was a special moment to present mama Valy together with her two puppies in one ring — a beautiful family picture we’ll cherish.

Our sincere thanks to judge Stefan Wächter for his expert eye, and to the organisers for a perfectly run and always welcoming event.

Once again, this club show proved to be one of the friendliest and most enjoyable days of the year.
